How to Rotate Pages in a PDF
Upload your PDF
Drag and drop or click to select the PDF file with pages that need rotating. Thumbnail previews will appear for every page.
Select pages and rotation angle
Click the pages you want to rotate and choose the angle: 90° clockwise, 180° (flip upside down), or 270° (90° counter-clockwise).
Rotate and download
Click "Rotate" and download the corrected PDF instantly. Only the selected pages are rotated — the rest stay unchanged.
Fixing sideways pages from scanners and phone cameras
Rotation is almost always a fix for one of three things: a sheet-feed scanner that flipped a page, a phone camera held in landscape when the document was portrait, or a multi-page PDF where some pages were scanned upside-down because the stack was loaded wrong. The fix is permanent — rotated pages stay rotated when emailed, printed, or opened on any device.
Two things to know: rotation in this tool changes the page's declared orientation in the PDF object, not the underlying image, so quality is byte-for-byte identical to the source. That is different from rotating in some image editors, which re-render and lose a small amount of fidelity each save. Second, if a PDF looks rotated when viewed but prints correctly (or vice versa), the issue is usually a viewer setting rather than the PDF itself — try opening the file in a different reader before rotating. For documents with mixed orientation (a spreadsheet between portrait pages, for example), rotate only the affected pages rather than every page.
